The Mission
The mission of Evangelical Free Church of Oroville is to glorify God in all that we do (Isaiah 43:5-7; 1 Corinthians 10:31) and to know Christ and present Him to our generation (John 10:14; Matt. 28:18-20).
The Vision
The vision of Evangelical Free Church of Oroville is rooted in the GOSPEL. We are committed to:
- Give sacrificially to fund the work of the Lord's church. (Genesis. 28:22; 2 Corinthians 9: 6,7)
- Obey and apply the Word of God in all matters of life and faith. (John 14:7; Matt. 28:18-20)
- Serve the Lord Jesus Christ and one another, exercising our spiritual gifts. (1 Corinthians 12)
- Pray for all unbelievers we know, asking God to give us the opportunity to share the Gospel and lead them to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (James 5:16)
- Express our love for God in worship services each week and to express God's love for man by explaining the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people in our community. (Hebrews 10:24; Matthew 28:18-20)
- Love one another as the Lord loves us, considering how to stimulate one another to sacrificial love and good deeds. We desire to be known as a church that truly loves one another in practical ways. (John 15:12)
