Here at Oroville EFC we are excited about the opportunity to reach kids for Jesus.  We are anxious that our children learn God’s Word and who He is.  So, with that in mind we use Desiring God Ministry curriculum where children learn the whole of God’s Word.
    A volunteer staff (all having gone through a background check) of 21 teachers, 3 substitute teachers and 2 music leaders reach out to regulars and new comers alike.  We also have 15 volunteers in our nursery who work on a rotating basis to help with our youngest precious ones.  A Junior Shepherd program incorporates junior high students in serving with the younger classes during the Worship Hour.

    Through out the year, there are several regular activities that our children enjoy: AWANA on Wednesdays, a Harvest Party with Biblical themes (Oct. 31st), a Happy Birthday Jesus Party (the Sunday closest to Christmas), special activities on Easter Sunday, a Vacation Bible School (usually during the beginning weeks of summer vacation for both children and adults), and different special summer Sunday School classes.  Our classes are for ages: birth through 1, 2s and 3s, 4-5-Kindergartners, 1-3rd graders, and 4th through 6th graders.

     In all we do, we hope to come along side parents to help raise children who will grow up to have a faith that will guide them through life’s pathway.
